Online Music (Special Guests From Imeem, Yahoo Music, Rhapsody) - RWW Live: Episode 6

rww_live200.jpgThis week’s topic is online music and we have 3 very special guests on the show to discuss this: Dalton Caldwell, founder and CEO of Imeem; Lucas Gonze, whose startup Webjay was acquired by Yahoo in January 2006; and Rob Williams, Senior Vice President of Music Software at RealNetworks.  The show is hosted by myself and also features Richard MacManus and Marshall Kirkpatrick. The guests brought a wealth of knowledge & experience and we had a great discussion on topics including: how the online music scene has changed over the past year and how it continues to evolve; the killer feature set for online streaming music; and business models.

  1. Matt says:

Yeah Imeem is quite fine! It’s part of the websites which contributed to the revolution in the musical world. However, my favourite one in that context is http://www.deezer.com/en which brought real free and legal music-on-demand! It’s quite great, and it has quite a huge catalogue right now! Check it out.

  2. Allison says:

I particularly use Imeem for all my listening needs every time I use the web, in fact I am listening to it right now
